Hello --
I am currently 15 years old and am thus limited to using gift cards for making online purchases (and naturally I don't have a credit card), I know most stores will allow the purchase of gift cards without a credit card although I know a small minority won't, in a Walmart though is it possible to do this without a credit card and just with cash?

I want to take advantage of medical tax deductions which I know should exceed 7.5%. Does anyone know, do I need every receipt for every visit or will a whole list of all the claims and my co-pays from the Insurance Company be enough? What can one do if the receipts are not all available?

Has anyone used a credit consolidation company? I am seriously considering using one that has a good reputation, but I was told that I will have to close out ALL of the credit cards that are on the repayment with them!!! For anyone who may know anyway, will closing out all of my credit cards (with maxed out credit limits!) adversely affect my credit rating?? I know it will, but to what extent?? Thank you for any advice.

What do you think of 19%? I'm 24, never had a credit card, about to return to school for a master's. This card is Capital One, no annual fee, interest rate of 19.8% variable. It seems okay to me, what's your opinion?

Thank you to everyone who answered my question about how I should handle my dispute will Dell.
I wrote a letter to their CEO, Michael Dell, and a letter to customer service and warranty management.
How long should I wait? I know I have to give them some time but how much time should I give them?

The bank says "no problemo" - but they just might wanna snatch the house back in 6 months! Here are the details, and yes, I'm in NY:

Gross income: $8500 (net $5500)
All bills generally come to $1600

How much house can I pull off? I'll likely put down 5% and then have two mortgages: an 80% at about 6.25 and a 15% at about 8.5%. Help!

I really need a car and there's this perfect one for me. It's a 1989 Toyota Celica GTS for $1,500. I really need this for work and school, especially since I live out of my schools district. My dad tried to get the loan and I was going to pay it through him, but due to a divorce our old house was foreclosed. Naturally due to this his request was denied. It was recently, within half a year. I really could use some advice. Can I get the loan myself? Any ideas or alternatives are welcome as I am very desperate for a solution. Thanks for your help.

Sincerely,
Wolf Silentheart
