Why don't you clarify, what bill and do you mean your bill you received in the mail is higher than you were told it would be?
Which amount is correct?
If you were billed an incorrect amount then notify the company at the address provided in your statement for billing errors.
If you were billed the correct amount then pay it.

Depends what type of bill it is. You can ask for an itemized report. There may be purchases that you didn't remember making or interest charges or late fees that you did not calculate into the bill. There could also be a mistake with your bill. You'll have to talk to the company and get as much details as you can to determine what happened.
