Lot of banks are issuing free credit cards. How do these banks make profit by giving free credit cards. If we purchase something in credit card, the bank has to pay the money to the vendors and we will pay it only after say, 45 days. The bank will lose the interest for this 45 days. So how does it work?

Please listen carefuly as our menu options have changed..for a co. directory push..I'm sorry did u say service...for master crd say 1for.. visa say2..If u have any other questions dial1866 789 123.. the best one...office hrs are from 8 to 430 and it's 4pm still no help. Who are these people that put these things in place? On a good day I could choke them! I once called a ball stadium not only for tickets but wanted to know where I could seat a wheelchair talking to a real person was not an option nor was it available. By the time you press 1,2 or 3 and 2 again a real person could have had all your info. or even been done with you. These company's are so cheap they won't hire someone to answer phones when so many of us need jobs

I work for a large retail company and the checks given out are by the main company head quarters. I don't have a bank account so I was wondering if it is possible to cash checks at ANY bank.

It's been 6 years I've graduated. My first job was thru' a campus recruitment for a call center at a multinational co. for credit card collections. I quickly moved up the success ladder, excelled at work, gained tremendous credit knowledge along with exceptional communication & supervisory skills in those 2 full years. The past 4 years I have been working in the middle east with a US Govt. Contractor where I completely changed my line of work, moving into vehicle fleet management, while I multi tasked in different roles including dispatching, maintenance procedures, departmental accounting, logistics operations etc. My question is: I want to change my job and get into the banking and accounting field. I'm sure a prospective interviewer would ask me why I did not look for a job transition earlier. Of course, the money was great but now I seriously wanna get into my specialized area. I need a good and effective answer to the question, as to why I did not look for a job change earlier.

As I got to know from the latest RBI Mid-term Review of Annual Policy for 2006-2007 that "Resident individuals would henceforth be free to remit up to US$50,000 per financial year for any current or capital account transaction or a combination of both, as against the earlier limit of US$25,000. The existing facilities for gifts, donations and investment by resident individuals in overseas companies would be subsumed under this revised limit. The existing facility for private travel up to US$10,000 per financial year will continue to be available on a self-declaration basis."

I would like to remit up to US$50,000 per Resident individual per financial year for 4(Four) Resident Indian Accounts.

Kindly let me know the procedure about how can I remit funds.

The selling agent told me that I can put a washer/dryer in my condo. After buying the condo, I talked with the Architectural committee (basically the Board) about putting a W/D and they rejected my proposal because the ammended CC&R has a provision that prohibits changes inside the unit that will affect the liability of the HOA. During escrow, I received the outdated version of the CC&R which did not have this new provision. I was unaware of the ammended CC&R until today.

What's my recourse? All I have is word from the selling agent that I can install a W/D.
