As a welder I haven't made minimum wage in many years.I have been very fortunate with my finances and I was wondering how many people in this country actually do make minimum wage or slightly above.

I asked the owner, he said to make him an offer, but I have no clue as to how much. I bought the house for £150, 000 two years ago as a 3 bedroomed 1 bathroom semi, but have added a huge extension outwards and upwards, 2 more bedrooms , 2 more bathrooms and a loft conversion. How would I calculate things in order to make a reasonable offer?

I'm 26 and I'm sick of the serious and professional work environments that I've been sticking to. It's time for me to break out of my shell and have a good time! What kind of jobs are there where I can be allowed to be funny and somewhat "goofy"? Don't suggest being a clown, because I don't want to be one. Is there anything else I can to that will allow me to release my positive and cheerful energy???

or do most people start them to save money on taxes? If I ever owned a b&b what is a realistic expectation for profit? Are rooms booked most nights?

I have a piece of land in FL mortgaged. Has anyone heard of leasing the land for someone to build a house on? Maybe something similar to what is done with mobile home parks or skyscrapers in cities...

I have some investing ideas, but I would like to test them out on data from the past 5-10 years to see if they work before I start using them. Where can I find historic data stock market data to test my ideas? I'd like the open/close prices of each stock on the NYSE, if possible. Hourly or minute-by-minute data would be even better.

My 28 year old boyfriend has some misdemeanor charges on his record that can be expunged. However, he doesn't work, and therefore doesn't have the money to expunge the charges. It would be easier for him to get the job he wants if he gets the charges expunged. Is it my responsibility to supply him with the funds everytime i get paid so he can get these things expunged?? I think it's his responsibility to be honest, because I didn't do the crimes..why should I have to pay for them...am i being too harsh?

Just dont understand why she needs to make a fuss over small matter. If she cannot help, it's ok. Doesn't mean that if lady boss has told her to help me, she cant help others? She takes 3 hrs to finish simple tasks and yet sounded as if she knows everything! Very fed up with her. Told her it's ok, nevermind if you cant help. Still went ahead to complain to our manager, her good friend!! Two crazy peoples!!

Everyone these days cite "thinking out of the box" as one of the success formulae. Do we get to know only about those successes in the open? How about the several possible failures on account of 'thinking out of the box'? What is the success percentage? How about the traditional avenues? The time-tested methods, don't they produce successes? Why is everyone harping about 'thinking out of the box'?

O.K. I know that a Roth IRA uses after-tax dollars and grows tax free and that certain contributions to a traditional IRA are deductible. Has anyone considered the very long range (30+) impact of federal income tax rates on their decision of which form of IRA to select. Given the level of the deficit and the national debt, I sense that we may be in a period of historically low federal income tax rates and that in, say 30 years from now, rates may be so high that I end up paying more taxes on withdrawals from a Traditional IRA than that taxes I would pay on my contributions to a Roth IRA today. Your thoughts?
