My grandfather left an insurance policy in my name, passed on in 1980, and grandma passed 2 months ago. My aunt is an evil catholic who won't send it to me, she wants my mother's address, whom wants nothing to do with her or the policy. My mom's name was on it only because I was a child at the time, it is totally paid up and matured, but my aunt said it has to be sent to my mother, then she sends it to me. I have no idea what the insurance company name is, my aunt won't tell me. She demands my mother give her address to my aunt, but my aunt just wants to stir up crap. My dad died when I was 4 and my aunt, his twin sister, has held a 37 year grudge against my mother's side of the family, blaming my mother for his death, so this has become a way for her to stir up trouble again. I am near bankruptcy and really could use that money, but how do I find it, the insurance company, or the policy ? I am stuck with nowhere to turn and no money for an attorney in this matter. please help me.

I had debt from 11 years ago. I rebuilt my credit and had excellent credit. That old debt all of the sudden appears as another credit card with a new number on my online account with Wachovia. They basically just reissued debt from 10 years ago on a new credit card number. The debt was already written off and off my credit report, but they turn around and give it a new number and throw it back at you... Its B.S. Anyone know how I can get this new card off my credit report. The bank is lieing and saying I cashed out the card a year ago.. Banks are so sneaky now - they are actually straight out lieing to credit bureaus

I just came to know that as I didn't file tax return last year, I might face
serious trouble. My earlier question:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmsKirfdQVmUSwQA1hm3flnsy6IX?qid=20061030132728AArBJLV

I didn't file because i was new here and I had no idea what to do and how to do. Also my income was extremely low. And I'll be punished for that? Wow.

All taxes were already taken out of my paychecks. Still it was my fault not to file taxreturn!!

Millions of illegal workers make huge money, thousands of them don't pay tax at all. They are still ok. I am perfectly legal resident, and I'll face trouble! Why?

God bless America!

I'm a stay at home mother and my neighbor asked if I wanted to do some data entry for her at her home office in a "1099" type of situation. I have NO idea what this means besides it being a tax form for a contractor/subcontractor. Do I have to legally have a business or any type of licenses in order to do this? I want to make sure that everything is done legally. In order to accept this position what do I need to know about the legal ramifications? What about when I file for taxes? -thanx

I have been monitoring my scores for a couple months thru www.truecredit.com, a site that is supposedly partnered with Transunion. Recently, I got approved for a mortgage loan. True Credit's score for me for Experion was almost 80 points lower than what Bank of America said they had pulled-- they probably used the actual FICO score. I've been thinking for a long time that True Credit had a score much lower than it should be given my report/history.

Do some sites look at your reports and make up their own score for you or what?
