I have turned in a work sheet containing repairs that need to be done at my rental home I live in each month w/ my rent payment but, to no avail nothing has been fixed on my home rental and there is mold in my foyer guest bath. The property manager told me there was mold remediation done to this house 3 years ago in the duct system. In any event my family stays sick and we are ready to move. What are the laws here.I pay a heap of rent for my 2 story 2500 square foot home. That was promised to be in tip top shape and repairs made by realtor in charge of property management.I have been informed owners will not pay for nothing. So manager told me she would pay for repairs personally.

I'd prefer to file single to make things easier. Can I file as single for the whole year even though I got married in the last week and a half of 2006?

I have a home that i inherited that doesn't have a mortgage, and I use it as a second/vacation home. I am planning on purchasing a primary residence in about 2 years. I was wondering if it is possible to purchase the primary residence by using the second home's value as my down payment. Specifically, I want to cash-out the amount needed for a down-payment on the home through my secondary home to avoid paying PMI. Is this possible to do? Also, if it is possible, should I expect a higher interest rate on the cash-out refi?

Thanks

He knows that I am a professional and that I am confident about myself and my job. He, the NEW boss, has had me in his office twice....intimidation techniques....and got no where with that. Now, he is too nice and has touched my shoulder twice and I need to tell him to back the f... off.

I am having a hard time picking a major. I have a passion for foreign languages, and I particularly like French. I am thinking about majoring in French but I am not sure exactly what I could do with that kind of degree? Tranlation maybe? I don't know. I also want to know if anyone has any information on becoming a translator.

I got this packet in the mail the other day referencing a Campbell Class Action Settlement. Apparently someone sued Verizon/Airtouch, and it's just now done.

OK, so apparently Verizon did something wrong way back in the day, and so they have to offer benefits to affected subscribers to make it right. So why do I have to extend my service contract an addiitonal year to receive a crummy $15 service credit or a whopping 25% discount on a wireless accessory? Why do I have to do ANYTHING to get this when I am not the one who did anything wrong?

The alternative is to get a service credit of $3 every 3 months beginning in my SEVENTH month after redemption of the voucher, up to and including the 28th month after redemption, or until I enter into a new contract.

It looks like a scam to me, like it's not real. Anyone else get this and A) know if it's for real; or B) think it's a cheapo way of getting out of trouble?

Ok, I just landed myself a pretty decent job and already went for the physical test (urine test and X ray) last friday. I never smoke or drink in my life, however I heard that there was alot of pp who failed this. So I was just wondering, how acurate is the urine test is ? Would someone who never smoke or drink at all like me have a chance to fail it ?
