My Husband is 53 and I am 10 Years Younger. During our 20-year marriage , I have been in and out of the workforce , raising children, and getting my PH.D. in economics. Now I plan to return to full time employment. I am essentially just getting my career under way as my husband approaches the completion of his. None of the retirement seminars address the issue that not all husbands and wives are the same age, nor do they retire at the same time.

I understand everyother type of tax. Except income tax.
Why should someone be charged directly from their income? It's completely unfair. I'm sure there are better reasons, I'd like to know them.

I'm looking for a part-time job in the run up to Christmas which I can do as a second job in the evenings and/or weekend. I'd like something which has the potential to give me good tips, is waiting in a restaurant the best bet? And are normal restaurants better for this than hotel ones? What is bar work like? Ideally something that wouldn't leave me too knackered. Thanks!

has taken over 80% of the customer base, and been meeting with your warm contacts who should be entering the market soon.

prior to this change, the impression given was that this guy was a team player, however these changes have shown his true colours.

Problem is; as the ex-manager for 2 yrs, he has a relationship with the sales director, whereas the two other sales guys(including me) have only been at the company 6 months.

any advice would be appreciated.

I have been to business link and all they want to do is send me on a 'how to write a business plan' course. I have been to the bank and was advised not to get a business loan due to high interest rates and the bank wanting me come up with at least 20% of the total amount of borrowing.
Does any one have any other suggestions?

I don't know if trying to do my own taxes with all the different tax forms and laws that pertained back then, its pretty confussing. I don't know if the IRS people would be willing or able to reduce my penalitys as maybe someone like H & R Block or some other tax people. Thru the years I have made payments off and on working with the IRS but that was about 3-4 or 5 yrs ago. I have been intouch with the IRS recently but like I said its pretty confussing and I just want to get this over with. What do you think...And thanks in advance for any advice you have...Shelley
