You have two options:

1> Sell it on e-bay, some mug is bound to pay thousands for what you consider to be tat!

2> Put a post-card in the window of your local Post Office. Save our Post Offices!!!

In Uk you can advertise using leaflets in shop windows what you put on them words/pictures is up to you. Most shops that let you do this have a limit as to how big usually it is post card size. An average shop window usually costs between 50p to £1 per week and there are only certain shops that will provide this service like post office/newsagents/some charity shops. You need to go round the areas you want to advertise in and see what shops you can do it n. It is cheap to do especially if you make the cards yourself however the only drawbacks are may not be enough shops to put them in and response not as good as you want.
Also you need to keep a list of where you put them how long for and when you need to renew.

It depends on how its done and where the window is. Some companies can give permission to do that on their property.
