My thought is that some of them can be miserable. I m happy the way I have, live, and behave.... (I'm not a millionaire, though).

In the following scenario, what's the best thing to do to reduce the debt the fastest and keep interest costs and balance transfer fees to a minimum?

Home Equity Loan balance of $26,000 (limit is $27,900) rate is variable (between 8.25 and 8.75%). The interest I pay on this loan is deductible on my taxes I think?

Discover balance of $8,400 (limit is $11,000) rate is currently 0% but will go to 8% in a few months.

Visa balance of $6,000 (limit is $25,000) rate is currently 20%.

Thanks for your advice. 10 points to the most helpful!

What should I expect? This is my first sales job can someone explain?

I have been working on trying to optimize my page rank on some of my sites. I notice that none of my internal links get credited as backward links on Google. However, other sites I notice that almost all of their links are internal links.

For example if you look at http://beginnersinvest.about.com/cs/investinglessons/l/blgrossmargin.htm and you check the packward links on Google all of them appear to be links from themselves.

Any idea how they do this and does this actually help the page rank?

Is that information publicly available? Looking at records filed in the county (Collin, Tx. & Dallas, Tx) seems to reveal only the amount of the original loan. For so-called short sales, knowing how much is owed on the property is essential. Subscription listings always list that info. Where do they get it?

My monthly income is around $900 and my dad's is $1050. We are 4 members in our family, my mom and my brother. I have to pay half of the rent expenses, which is $500, every month. Rest $500 is paid by my dad. I also have to pay for some other expenses for my family around $200. Am I a dependent? I am 22, single. After all these expenses I pay, will I still get return after tax filing?

I am thinking of purchasing a condo in a downtown area.my options are:
1. 5th floor 845sq ft east facing corner unit. windows in every room. 1 view overlooks vacant parking lot, the other overlooks the entrance of a historic hotel to be renovated to condos. Its noisy since it faces the street, but I'm told by R.E agents that the resale value will be better since it has views.
2. a 945 sqft interior unit with views of other interior units & lightwell, no neighbors, except unit across lightwell. This unit is also on the 5th floor (there are 12 total) so i'm not sure how dim it will be in that unit.I believe there is some natural light that comes in at some point in the day as the sun passes. This unit is priced $20,000 less.
Both units have birch wood floors, granite countertops, Toto kitchen & bath fixtures, bosch appliances, italian cabinetry. The building is awesome, not sure which to choose. The agent tells me that interior units are difficult to sell.which unit would u prefer?

I want to investment in some land, it could be anywhere in the United States. What areas are going to be the next booming areas? The last one I recall was Arizona. Let me know.

Also, what do you guys think of the land being sold on Ebay for a few hundred bucks? It's legit for sure because if any one is stupid enough to lie, its a FEDERAL CRIME.

Let me know your insights

I am looking to promote myself and my art.
I don't have any money right now to do this though.
I would like to know of different ways to do this
(internet especially).
When I lived in Phoenix AZ I had no problem selling
or getting commissions, but now that I live in
central Illinois, times are tough.
All suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

In the year of 2005, I worked in November and December, and made
a total of $1,500. I didn't do tax return files of 2005 cause I was told that it was not important for me to do tax return for such low income of only 2 months. Another reason worked for this, which is, the last check of $550 I got in January 05, 2006.

Was it right?

My boyfriend and I are from Seattle, WA. We lived in Spokane, WA for the past 5 years, and just recently moved to Portland, OR. He got into 5 of the 6 graduate schools he applied to, and we had our choice where to move. I started a new job, and am getting much better pay and benefits. He is miserable at school- starting to question if this is even what he wants to do. I don't like my new job... but as I said the pay and benefits are much better. Should we stick it out and try to keep our chins up, or should he take a year off and I find a new job? I have only been working here for 2 mos. so I know that will not look good on my resume. This is not a fast food job... I am in my career at this point.
