benn hearing a lot of good things about Sears Holdings. Any other sure bet, long term stocks. I want to get into one as I have limited amount of money. Another one I heard of is goggle - which one is better? any suggestions? THANKS!

i want to move my 401k from my previous employer into an IRA now that i have my own business. Now that the dow is way up, is this a better time to do this, or does it matter?

I moved from New York to California for a job. But I began the job six months before moving and for those six months commuted every week (flying out to California on Monday mornings; flying back Thursday nights).

My company gave me a $8000 payment to help defray these costs (and in addition paid our moving expenses).

So here are my questions:

- Is the $8000 considered income? And if so, are my plane tickets considered expenses I can write off?

- Are the moving expenses they paid for income?

I am a bookkeeper and am very familiar with Quickbooks. I am applying for a new job and they asked me if I am a full charge bookkeeper and I of course said yes! Then it started to make me a little nervous. I work with the accountants at both of my jobs. They do use the general ledger in Quickbooks and I have never seen this before. Any jobs I ever had they never used general ledger. Let me know!!

Yet, I have great references, is generally well-liked and talked about positively in my jobs. I also have a decent resume. Why is this?

I could not understand the service rep from Citi-mortgage today.I have decided to refinance with another mortagage company because of the time it took to try to get a answer.I never did and had to go to my bank to verify payments were made as I directed.I felt very uncomfortable giving my social security number to a person living in a country with such poverty and corruption as India has.Why do companies think outsourcing is going to keep customers?They lost me.
