If you quit a job and the new company has a 401k, so they have to accept your 401k from a previous employer or can they deny it? Any links would be appreciated.

I would like to know whether or not I am corretly filling out a NYS W4 form. I have been told I should only have a claim of one for myself by the end of the worksheet, but I end up with two.

I am single with no kids.

Hi can someone help me with this stupid business studies question I had??

Scenario: ABC is a UK subsidary of a Japanese company, as a managing director you want to ensure that your company is profitable, contributes to the UK Gross National profit, whilst ensuring that arrangement are in place for disposing of hazardous waste.

The actual silly question which I was clueless about: Describe how external factors and economic enviroment can have an effect on an engineering company. Describe how recession can affect an engineering company in the business of overhauling brake units for aircraft undercarriages. Outline some strategies which can be used to weather the influence of recession??

Please may someone help me with this question.

Classic story. In college, hate my low-wage job, desperately need money to pay bills, and I need it soon. (and I REFUSE to get embroiled in credit card debt) I'm thinking of being a cocktail waitress, probably at a strip club, but I'm concerned as to how future employers will view something like that. Does anyone know if it will really negatively affect me, or will most people look at the kind of employee I really am and judge me by that? I have a good resume, a lot of experience at respectable places, and generally ace job interviews.

When I sign the mortgage loan document, if I see the numbers or the interest rate in the document are not as promised by the loan officer, do I have the authority to refuse signing or back out? If so, will the loan officer ask me to pay for all the work they have done and the charges they paid for the appraisal and etc?

I recently started an online store. I've had plenty of visitors who've spent a long time on the site but no buyers. I'm thinking it's because no one trusts me because I'm new and not a big named company. I sell accessories and apparel. I have a friend that currently lives in Fla. His father died and left him his home in Virginia. He now has to pay the mortgage on the home in Virginia and his rent in florida. There is a man living in the home in virginia for free because his Sister told him that the house has to be Occupied otherwise the state can take the house away....

It sounds like a bunch of crap to me. but maybe someone elses knows the truth.

my fiance and i looked at a mobile home yesterday to possibly buy, but it's going to take awhile for us to get a mortgage, because we've got some credit problems we have to take care of first. the mobile home owner (who's family is friends with my fiance's family) said he'd consider letting us rent to own until we can get our own mortgage. (he's in a hurry to sell so he can move up north where his wife and kids are). he wants to sell it just for the ammount he owes for it. is there anything we should know before we go through with this?

I need to replace files that I upload via FTP when newer files are available. My DIR to disk shows only information like SEP 29 15:45 filename. Is there a way to retrieve the full file date?
