If you are a member of the RBS bank and apply for a loan, what do they want to know?

Do not borrow from them. Did you know you that you pay off all of the interest before you even start paying off the loan. Join a credit union instead. I am seriously giving you good advice. Do not go there, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask when he was out on the rob.

They will ask where you work, how long you have worked there.
How long have you been at your present address - if this is less than three years you will have to give your last address. They will ask if you have any other loans with anyone else and any debts you may have. They will also need to know how much your salary is and how it is paid,(weekly, monthly, cheque, cash etc.)
They will ask for your last three wage slips, and prove of your identity and home address ( usually a utility bill) Another thing you will need is something with your signature on it . They will then run a credit check before deciding.
Basically you will be asked everything except the size of you knickers!!

Basically they want to ensure that you are who you say you are and whether you have a steady enough job with the required income to repay the money.They could even get you to take out insurance to cover the loan if you ever were unable to continue paying it. Having said that though the banks have money to throw at people and don't really care if they are in debt up to their eyes.
