Wanna get a tattoo on each of my inner wrists. Something like "Strength" and "Honor" or "Discipline" and "Determination" Something in line with those type of values. Also what kind of font to get 'em in? Never gotten a tatoo with text.

My little sister got a piercing on the skin _below_ her lower lip, like a reverse Marilyn Monroe piercing. Anyway, they put a sorta-big round stud in there and the metal circle backing looks as though it's "sinking" into her skin, It's still on the surface of her inner lip, but it appears to be almost level with it, like the skin's opening up and swallowing the backing. Is this part of the healing process or is she having some weird reaction to the foreign material in her mouth?

When she got her belly pierced, the ring was being pushed out to the surface by her skin and she had to remove it. Could the same thing be happening to the piercing on her mouth?

I've decided I want to get two tattoos. One of a yellow hibiscus on my foot (for my own personal liking) and one of two praying hands on the back of my hip, for my grandfather. My mom is taking me to get one soon, and I'm not sure which one to get first. It'll be my first tattoo. The hands would obviously be smaller than the foot, but I really like my hibiscus design. Help?

i got my one and only tattoo 4 years ago it is not as smooth as every one elses i have touched it is raised and kinda bumpy it is on my lower back.. does any one know why my tattoo is like this or if there is any thing i can to it does not hurt but just feels funny

I am breaking out under each nostril down my smile creases, and above my chin but below my lips. Not really breaking out too bad, but redness and dryness! I've always had redness in this area but never this bad! I use Murad acne face wash in the morning and night, I moisturize with a night cream every night. It is so dry in this area, what else can I do?? It seems to be getting worse.

I got this tattoo on Thursday. The day I got it I put A&D ointment on it after taking the bandage off. Some of the ink leaked out that night so I stopped putting the A&D on it and started with the Lubriderm the day after. Alot of the shading has seeped out and it is starting to peel, and more of the ink is flaking off with it. It still looks really good, but I want it to stay bold as it is black with the gray shading. How can I save it from peeling so fast and loosing the dark black and leaving me with a dull tattoo. The artist also applied white ink as an undertone to the outline above the shading....that has completely gone, which he said it could be a possibility. I have one tattoo that I got 5 years ago, it's in the middle of my lower back, this one is across my shoulders. I don't remember loosing any color or ink with the first one.... Any suggestions?

Has any-one used any products containing alpha-hydroxy acid? I have done a bit of research and I understand that it is an ingredient that might give your skin a more youthful appearance. However I find it very confusing to go and try to buy a product containing this ingredient. I don't always understand what the ingredients are on the label and there seems to be such a range of prices. I don't really want to ask at the cosmetic counter if I can avoid it. I know a lot of the sales people work for comission and I'm concerned I'll end up paying a lot more than I need to. Has anybody used a product that you could recommend that is a reasonable price? Also could you please state if you live in the US . I live in Canada, but close to the border so if I can't find it here I can always pop across the line to buy it.

If either of my parents see it im dead! They thought i was just goin out with some girlfriends and instead i brought a guy with aswell and they dont know....so now i have a hicky and if they see it they'll KILL ME! wot shuld i do? I dont necesarily need to get rid of it but how can i hide it!

A few months ago I received my first tattoo after doing some research of tattoo artists. I selected one and he seemed to do an awesome job on my tattoo, but I have a few concerns. It's not perfect. For example, some circles are not PERFECT, but still decent. Thus, a person simply looking at the tattoo would not notice the imperfections, but someone who anaylzed it would. Is this a major fault of the artist? Or, is this just what happens with custom tattoo artistry?

I was on ortho tricyclen lo for 1 month a long time ago, and within that month, my skin was completely blemish free, plus I lost a good 10 pounds!! I read that ortho tricyclen is prescribed to treat acne and is clinically proven to clear up the skin, but when I inquired about ortho lo, I found that it isnt proven to treat acne, yet like I said, it worked for me before... so now I am starting ortho tricyclen to see if it works since it IS prescribed for acne, but Im wondering if I shouldve stuck with the ortho lo... if anyone has any info or experiences they can share, I would be more than happy to read them. Thanx!!
