Unfortunately sweetheart, you're just going to have to wait it out! The black area (which is just a bruise under the nail) will eventually work it's way to the top of your finger and be gone. You may then have to wait for a ridge where you have damaged the nail bed to grow out, too. If you've done serious damage to the area where the nail begins (the hyponicium) it may never be the same again. Just wait it out........try some dark polish or a Band-Aid.

Ouch! Did the nail come off? You need to use a nail strengthner. Nailtique makes a good one. If your nail is pulling away from the nailbed then, you'll need to get some type of medicine to help it adhere to the nailbed. If it has pulled away, be very careful with it! Good luck! It will grow back very soon.

Unfortunately, there is not anything you can do except to wait for it to grow out. What the black is, is blood under the nail bed...like a bruise, it will take a while, but it will eventually grow out.

eat protein. then when you think there long enough go to a nail shop and get them painted. keep them painted and eat protein I promise, they will grow.

take vitamine E pills. but dont swallow them. crak them open and put it on your fingernail. it will grow out and look like normal again
