I would think twice about putting a tattoo on your stomach, what if you had a child? it would get all stretched out and distorted.

The price of the tattoo depends on the intricacy of it, if theres color, and how well known the tattoo parlor is.

I have 26 tattoos of varying shape and size, i have paid from £20 to £280 for my designs all in plain black ink, expect to pay around about £30 to £40 pound per hour for any free hand work and all other designs will be priced accordingly, the stomach can be quite a sensitive area to tattoo onto however the pain only lasts a short while the result is there for a lifetime. Please be sure of what you want remeber its a lot easier to get a tattoo than remove one, also please and i cannot emphasise this enough please pick a good quality reputable artist, go on reccomendation, look at the place, ask questions and see how busy they are, the likelyhood is if you can get an appointment same day then they are probably not busy, with the current popularity of tattooing then you may wonder why they aren't busy. Be warned tattooing is addictive. Not trying to put you off just want you to be safe.

I have several large tattoos. One took 2 sittings of 3 hours each. It takes up most of the outside of my thigh (im 5ft 8 so my thighs are quite long) and is highly detailed. That was a custom tattoo which my tattooist designed for me and it cost £180. I have one which is multi coloured about half the size of the inside of my calf which cost £100 and took 2.5 hours. and one on my back which is about 1.5ft long and is about 1/2 foot in depth and that cost £125 and took 3 hours. It depends on where you get it done though and if the tattoo is custom work or not. Some tattooists charge by the hour. Some per tattoo so check out as many as possible before going ahead.

My right arm sleeve cost around £2500 i pay an extremely good artist £50 an hour for most of my work.My abdominal piece cost about £100 it took a couple of hours. It'll depend on how much detail your piece has as to how much it will cost.Find a good artist have a look at his work pay him/her a good hourly rate on sittings and enjoy cause when there finished you'll have a great custom abdominal piece good luck. Have a look at my 360 some of my tattooz are there plus a link to my current artist.

Most parlors have a minimum of $50 for a piece. For larger work some charge a couple of hundred or by the hour.

kaledonioi talks nonesense. he has paid around £500 for his right arm sleeve. He got most of it done on the cheap. All tattooists charge different prices. you are better speaking to them about your tattoo cause to be honest they are the ones who will know how much it is as they will be the ones doing it.
