Pop those suckers (gently, please, or risk infection). Blackheads aren't like pimples in that they don't generally come out by themselves for a very long time. And the risk of having them pop inward is practically nonexistent.
After you've gotten rid of them, prevent future ones by using salicylic acid on your face. Clearasil (benzoyl peroxide) won't do a thing for them, because it's a disinfectant and blackheads are not infected. Salicylic acid exfoliates inside the pore so that its contents shed normally and don't build up.
Pore strips are a silly scam. They only remove the very tip of the blemish. The rest of the gunk is still sitting inside your pore.

I love Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser. It works great! A great way to get rid of blackheads is to steam your face to open the pores. If you don't have a facial steamer (most people don't), you can put a pan of water on the stove to boil and hold your face over it--not too close! Just were you can feel a little sting but not like your face is burning.
Then wash your face with whatever cleanser you have (like the Clean & Clear) gently with warm water using a washcloth or even better, get some very fine netting at the fabric store and run GENTLY. You can squeeze your skin a little bit, but not much. The better way is to pull your skin away from the blackheads rather than squeezing the skin together.
Finally, rinse your face in cool water to close the pores back up.
Remember to not pick at your skin...you can leave scars.

The traditional way will be a good face scrub that you can use once a week but recently I tested this very good blackhead remover for a company from the States called Cellnique but is distributed in Malaysia. It's a serum made of mostly plant extracts and when you apply on the affected area for a period of 10 days, you'll be able to see results.

Use a exfoliater that contains Alpha & Beta Hydroxy Fomula twice a week after a quick rince with warm to hot water would help. Drink more tea and eat less fried food really helps.

Wash your face with warm water to open the pores. In the cheek area, scrub it with brown sugar. It has elements that will exfoliate and will take away the dirt clogged in your pores. Afterwards, wash your whole face with the mildest facial wash(try cetaphill or J&J clean and clear). Finally, rinse your face with cold water to close the pores. You may rub an ice cube also.
Do this every morning and before you go to bed at night.
Don't forget water theraphy! 8 glasses of water everyday is a great help..
