I have three tattoos and I really don't like any of them. I was excited when they would show me what they would look like (they are on my back) But after I looked at the finished tat I was not happy. I was wondering if any of you felt this way too.

I have two, I love the one on my foot, the one on my back... well... the guy really messed it up, when I went back to him to ask him to fix it, he got really angry.
So, I'm now in the process of finding another tattooist to repair the mess he made.

my dad was having a back piece done and he has the same problem. the artist used to many needles for the fine lines and really messed it up. He's not happy with it, and because the details can't be fixed, he's just not going to have it finished. It can be hard if the artist doesn't know exactly what they're doing. My dad's artist used a 3/5 and now that he (my father) is an artist he knows that was too big, but the tat is already ruined. it happens.

I got my tat when i was 16 and now im almost 18 and still love it and am getting another just not sure when, don't go thinking im stupid or anything like that i knew what i wanted when i was 12. i think it depends on the artist and how you know them, i have a friend and she dindn't know her artist from a bar of soap all she knew was he was good and professional, she regrets getting her tattoo. however im bestfriends with my artists fiance and getting him to do my next tat (and anymore i get after that) because i trust him and know that he knows my tastes and distastes (if thats even a word) what i dont like

Where you put a tattoo is very importing. What happens when you get : old! fat! have children! marry the guy of your dreams who is a preacher? Lost of people as they get older get closer to god and start church. I know people who hate their tattoo now ashamed of them. I think it is something personal. I have two. But I thought about this when I got them. They are on my lower
belly, people don't even know I have them unless I wear a short shirt or tell them.

Wow, that's really bad. How did that happen? Don't they show you a print on your body before they do it? I have one tat and I am satisfied with it.
