I am breaking out under each nostril down my smile creases, and above my chin but below my lips. Not really breaking out too bad, but redness and dryness! I've always had redness in this area but never this bad! I use Murad acne face wash in the morning and night, I moisturize with a night cream every night. It is so dry in this area, what else can I do?? It seems to be getting worse.

do you have a cold and using tissue alot lately? or licking your lips because they are chapped. I would stop using the face wash for starters. Try using simple witch hazel instead when washing your face. or plain hot water then cold . Never use soap. The only thing that touches my face is hot water then honey then hot water then vasaline around my eyes. I am 45 no wrinkles no acne and no dry skin. No one believes that I am over 35. My sons look older than I do. and they are 30 and 28. All that chemical stufff cant be good for ones skin. Bacteria cant grow in honey so it destroys the bacteria on your face. I would think that the acne wash is what is irritating your skin and making what ever you have worse. You probably touched something and then rubbed your face.

This could be a bunch of things. The weather has changed and the moisturizer you're using may not be enough. Sometimes, despite all my wonderful products, I use CARMEX on my lips and my nostral area. I do not get cold sores but I get dry lips. The Murad might be too much for you to use 2 times a day. Maybe use once and alternate with something a lot gentler. Or, just use on the areas that aren't drying out from it. One thing I have noticed for me is, the same routine everyday does not work for me. I usually have 2 different skin care lines, this way I can alternate.

Sounds like maybe an allergy to food or the products you are using. Sometimes using acne wash can dry out the skin worse. I would check with a dermatologist.

if its tremendous itchy, i propose Hydrocortisone Cream a million %. attempt Cortizone 10 Plus. It has 10 moisturizers and looks after the itch. keep on with to the realm no more effective than 3-4 cases daily. the biggest ingredient is to moisturize and be very comfortable with the area affected. Wash your face with lukewarm water and a cushty cleanser. keep on with Vaseline formerly going to sleep, because that is an outstanding moisturizer. AND --- give up utilizing a lot products on your face. it extremely messes with the pH of your skin. goodluck!

It sounds like a condition called perioral dermatitis. It is very common in young women, and it is nothing to worry about. Really similar to acne, but harder to treat. You need to consult your dermatologist.

Did you try switching up products? Perhaps it's too harsh for your skin. If this is reoccurring, see a dermatologist.
