Hair - November 2006

I have dark brown hair. I just want it a little bit lighter color, but not really blonde. What are some products that I would have around the house to help my hair color lighten up a little. I don't want to get it dyed, or tan in the sun. Please help.

if so where can i buy the kit at? my hair has a lot of blonde highlights in it, and i want to tone it down a bit. anyone know if i can do this myself or do i have to go to a saloon and do it. i dont have a lot of money either so keep that in mind.

I tried scrunching my hair today. I used regular gel and curling mousse and hairspray. I let it dry. It's really curly and cute, but the top of it is flat and frizzy. The back it also frizzy.
what am I doing wrong? any tips?

I'm 33 and as my getting older I'm noticing darker hairs on my upper lip and a few hairs on my chin. I try to pluck the hairs on my chin and use Neet on my upper lip or get it waxed but it just comes back again in a couple of dayz. Is there anyway to stop the hair from growing back or at least control it?

My hair is super damaged. I tried curling it by scrunching it. It doesn't work. It gets all frizzy and doesn't even curl or get wavy. I straighten my hair every day (& blow dry). I can tell me hair has gotten very thin. I think it's gonna fall out. I hate it. I have lots of split ends and my hair just breaks. I need a new way to do my hair without straightening it or scrunching it.
Any oppions?

I have long hair, and I'm thinking of getting it cut: maybe trimmed, styled, or get it cut short. A lot of women tell me not to cut it, but I've heard most women prefer short hair. I've also heard girls think long hair is uber-sexy and masculine.

For long hair on guys, what's the most attractive style? I don't want to end up looking like a pretty boy/surfer and don't want to get it all chopped at one length 'cause that's bland looking. So how should I get it cut?

i bleached my hair on thursday and then again on friday cuz it came out orange but now it kinda (like close but not really) feels like the hair afrian americans have (some of my hair anyways), i dont know what to do now... i did a hot oil treatment and now i have a mayonase mask on i havent washed it out yet but help me what should i do i dont want 2 cut it off im to scared!!! i love my hair but i will only cut of a bit help help im so scared im crying!

My hair from the roots is real greasy, almost like I have way too much product in it, but I dont. I dyed my hair like 3 times in a week span cause I couldn't get the right hair color. But now I can't wash this grease/stickiness/stiffness out. what product do I use to restore it?
