I tried scrunching my hair today. I used regular gel and curling mousse and hairspray. I let it dry. It's really curly and cute, but the top of it is flat and frizzy. The back it also frizzy.
what am I doing wrong? any tips?

that happens to me sometimes especially becuz i have long hair, so i use Garnier sllek and shine. before curling and blowdrying my hair. i wash it and apply some of the sleek and shine. then i blowdry and culy, when im done i finish it off with very light hair spray. try it. it worked 4 me.

Good Luck

ooo,,i love that style i always do it..lol but what i do is first put my head in the sink or tub i wet my whole hair,,then towel dry it,,then i would put my jell,,mouse nicely making sure i got everywhere and make sure that's how i want it then put my hairspray on everywhere,,making sure it got it perfect,,and if you want you can dry your hair with a blow dryer to make sure its not dripping out of your hair!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can try getting those leave-in-conditioners that has the frizz control. Try going to a hair stylist and perhaps they can get you some advice.

Try biosilk, it works wonders. Put it on damp hair, works very well for me.
