I'm surprised that several of the other answers say it's fine as long as it's got natural ingredients. Yes, natural ingredient are better than chemicals, but even nature can give you nasty side effects (poison ivy is natural, but I can guarantee a doctor would warn against using it).

I don't think a hair and nail vitamin would hurt, nor would a multivitamin. You might be a little bit disappointed with the results though if your party is in a couple of weeks. You would probably be more pleased with the results if you got a manicure and a blowout at a salon.

Check he label and see what the vitamins offer. DOn;t exclude other nourishment to the favor of nails and hair. If you are sick but with shiny hair, the celebration is pointless.

Understand what the limits of the vitamins you are taking, too much vitamins of certain types may not be good either. See enclosed

Also, vitamins, may not be vitamins at all, but just an additive that may or may not healthy.

You should be taking a good multivitiman. Cheap vitamins often have impurities that do harm. www.NatureMade.com is a good vitamin. They aren't at WalMart, but they are at WalGreens, on the web, and some other places.

If they are just natural supplements, then of course it's okay. But if you're really worried, have your mom call your doctor and speak to a nurse. They can tell her yes or no over the phone.
