I wash my hair with Pantene Pro V shampoo and conditioner. Do NOT skip the conditioner part...it makes your hair so soft and smelling lovely! Also, after my hair is dried from washing, I use Garnier Fuctis strengthing lotion. It's great to keep hair soft!

There are so many fine products on the market. And most of them work equally well. but you have to make sure that you start with a good shampoo, (stay away from cheapies, they can make your problem worse) the second thing is a good conditioner. Also try hot oil treatments 1-2 times a week. this gives your hair more strength and more flexibility. as far as being able to manage your hair, use a good mouse' treatment or some type of styling gel. Put a fairly good amount into the palm of your hand, and rub your hands together, spreading the treatment to both of your hands. And then massage both hands through your hair. Blow dry your hair with a large drying brush and turning the dry on the next to highest heat. Don't dry on hot this will help continue to dry out your hair. and you don't need this. You also could try using a hair straightener, sometimes this will help make your hair more manageable.- Good luck and Happy Styling!!

I have a combination of dry curly hair. I find that John Frieda curl around or straighten up shampoos & conditioners, followed by the Umberto California spray on, leave in conditioner and John Frieda Downplay (to depouf) work about as well as anything. The trick is to use all the Frieda products from the beginning to the end.

If nothing else, the Umberto California leave in conditioner is great for apre shampoo. You can find it at Target.

I use Herbal Essences brand "none of your frizzness" shamp and cond. Watch for the local drug stores to put it on sale, and then there are coupons in local papers. example Last week I got this great deal Walmart price was 2.89 each Drug store price was 2.50 each Coupon for Buy one get one free coupon for 1.00 off I got two bottles for 1.50 That is a great price for it, plus since i have long hair that curls on its own sometimes, and I straighten it at other times, I never have to worry about flyaway frizzies, and the after washing comb out is much easier too. And another plus side is it smells wonderful too!!

warm about 1/2 a cup of olive oil in the microwave and put it on your hair. cover in plastic wrap and leave for 15-30 minutes. then shampoo (twice perhaps if it still feels a bit oily). don't apply conditioner. hope that helps :D

I have that same problem, thanks to hair colorants and rebonding techniques! One day, my friend told me to try apply yoghurt on the hair. I've tried it, my hair feels softer and not so dry & brittle anymore...Well, u gotta try at least once a week for months to achieve the desired result. Good luck trying!

p/s : Don't get the flavoured yoghurt for your hair please...
