ok i think i get breakage cuz at night i toss and turn (my hair is thick and it is not wet when i go to bed) at night when im in bed and that makes my hair break, i really rub it against the pillow. i try using a hairtie to tie it back, but NO MATTER WHAT HAIRTIE I USE it always comes out (i never use hair-ties with metal in them) how can i keep my long hair in place? i cant sleep with a hat/cap/anything that really covers my head. i have thick hair, it couldnt really be any thicker

I got my hair done last Wednesday. I got it cut, all over colored and highlighted. The girl rushed through because she was running behind and now I see a big spot in the back that I just hate!!! Is it ok to go back and ask her to fix it? Do you think she will charge me? I just want this big blond hunk dyed brown. Is it ok to ask her to fix it?

Ok I had a little bit of a condition (called alopecia areata) where I lost a patch of hair at the crown of my head & right now it's growing back extremely slow. It's kinda long but still short enough that it spikes up. Does anyone know of a good but not too expensive product (pomade, gel, etc) I can use to smooth it down that will NOT make my hair look like I haven't washed it in 2 days?? I've tried quite a few things (including hairspray or bedhead, got 2 b & citre shine brand pomades) & even if I use a little it still makes my hair look nasty in that area....

i need to know ... what color goes well with my hair... and hair cut too!

i cut my hair like one month ago in layers and like 5 months i highlighted the hair ... my hair color is dark brown but now turned into light/dark brown with extra light brown hightlights.... and as soon it grew up already and my bf is coming in 18 days i want to impress him... my hair is natural soft waves/straighten.
i really want to colour my hair into chocolat color and i found that, as long i have lights brown in my hair, it will create a nice color in my hair. any help ? any tip??

I have naturally curly hair that I get colored every couple of months and I'm wondering if there is a good shampoo and conditioner out there made for both? I have found shampoo's made for curly hair and for color treated, but never for both combined. If not, which would be best to use?

i am curious to know where people shave because it relieves me that i am not the only one whos shaves in that area. Ok, i am just basically wanting to where you shave down below. when i seen her video the "voice within" she had black hair and it looked pretty on her, it makes her eyes shine out more. isn't she hispanic anyway? with the blonde hair she looks plain but with black hair she looks more hispanic like in my opinion. what do you think?

i've had my hair straightener for over a year now and it has started to release a gross burned smell when it heats up that seriously stinks up the whole house. i figure that it does this because it's dirty but what do i use to clean it? i'm getting a new one soon, but what should i do for now?

My hair is ashy light brown and my eyebrows are dark brown. I have pale skin and light blue eyes. A good part of my natural color has grown out and I don't like the color of the dyed parts below. Should I darken them? Can I do this without doing anything to the hair above it? Or should I just let it grow out?

Hi, I have a 13yr. old son. I would like to say its you’re hair have it anyway you want, you are old enough. (Clean of course though) Anyways I’ve tried this for about a year. But, I’ve got to say, he doesn’t have a clue! He wanted it kinda long skater style. We let it grown out. But, when we went to the hair salon to get it shaped up after it grew out, he didn’t know how to explain what it’s supposed to be cut like. When we were done and 18 bucks later it looked almost exactly the same! Now, I know he was going for the messy longer look but this had no shape or style to it at all. Even he said "no that’s not really what I wanted" when we got home. Although he didn’t really care as long as his hair was "shaggy" I’ve seen kids with longer skater hair. It wasn’t a mess. But I don’t know how to describe it to a stylist. And neither can he. I cant find anything online that show teen guy cuts. Only women & men. I don’t want to take a mom power trip & cut it all off. But, by now I want to. Any ideas?
