im south asian and a NATURAL brunette... i do absoloutly nuttin to my hair besides wash it and brush it...

it ticks me off when ppl think my hair is fake and still go on asking if i use garnier or nice n easy...

cant ppl accept that theyre are SOME authentic ppl still out ther??

My hair curls over my collar, falls into my eyes when I swim so I wear a swimming cap and googles, looks kooky when I wake up, standing straight up like I've seen a ghost. But perhaps if I let it grow longer, it wouldn't do this?

I highlight my hair all the time using the foil method, My best friend whom is African-American wants me to highlight her hair. She says that the salon that she goes to only uses the cap and she wants chunky highlights. I told her that I wouldn't touch her hair 'till I was for sure that I wasn't going to make her hair too damaged (obviously dye damages your hair anyway). Do we have to use a special brand of dye that would cause less breakage? What about henna? and bleach? HELP ME OUT HERE I really want her her to BE ALL ABOUT THE BUSINESS! I love my sister ;D

My hair is really thick and wavy and i'm tierd of dealing with it. I love the way it looks and feels when I straighten it, but it takes me about 1 and a half hours to do so. I just don't have the time to do that everyday. I was wondering if there is a way to get a reverse perm, so my hair is straight all of the time, not curly. 10 points for the best answer!

I wash my hair every day and come the next day it is dead oily again! What shampoo should I use? Is there anything I can do to stop it getting so oily so fast?

to start it off, i had hair to my shoulder thtat i was extemly proud of...
ok, my mom said that she was gonna give my hair a "trim" becuz there was alot of dead hair , and i was planning on growing my hair, veryyy long, and getting extentions on top of that.
well, when my mom was done, i found out that a "trim" to her is a "cut" to me, so, it looks liek a have a bob hair cut, it goes to my chin ( ick right? )
so i was like READY to get extentions and i thought they would cost about 100-200 $, i called over 25 salons, and found only 1 that did them, and they were 300-400!! so now i cant get extensions cuz i dont have THAT much $, and so im planning on getting a choppy cut, does anyone know anyplace thats reallly good around the : Willmar, MN area???
and i also need to know if i should cut any higher??
plz help

When I came home my hubby was very upset, in fact we quarrelled about it for nearly two hours. Okay so I didn't tell him before what I was going to do, but I had only been blonde for 5 years or so and we've been together for 16 years. We're fine now, although he still doesn't like my do (I LOVE IT). Just thought I'd get your opinion.
