When I was little my hair used to be really straight. I cut it short for several years and now i am growing it back out. Now it is curling in different places. It is uneven. is there any way I can fix the problem, besides using one of those electric hair straighteners.

My hair is naturally dark brown but it's dyed black, I've been colouring it blue-black for over a year now. I want my hair to be a really intense bright red but my hairdresser refuses to do it. She says that even if I get the black stripped out it's still too dark. She also says that if I bleach it before dying it red then my hair will be ruined. I'm tempted to risk it by doing it myself anyway but I know she's right. Is there any other way I could go red?

I only use professional shampoos such as Redken, Tigi and Matrix's Biolage Hydratherapie. I haven't found one that I am content with. My hair is long, very dry, and colored and highlighted every 5 weeks, and has just bounced back from a traumatizing bleach to strip the black-blue color I had died my hair (mistake XP). I have used Reken All Soft, and I wasn't that happy with it, Tigi's Dumb Blonde just sucks...and Matrix Biolage Hydraptherapie I'm getting shipped so I haven't had a chance to use it. What is the best intense moisturizing shampoo & conditioner I can use to help soften my hair so I can look like the chick in the Redken poster at my salon! (yeah...I know impossible...but I want to get pretty damn close to it!)

I am not dark nor light skinned latina i would say in between. I am unsure whether to go back to black hair (my natural) or go light? I have already lightned it and it is a brown with kinda blonde hightlights more blonde on top UGHHHHH!!!! ut my dilemma is i dont know if i should just give up the whole brown with carmel hightlights i have wanted it forever!!! and since i intially had to have my hair stripped I(on may 20th) i dont want to dyeit back to black and then regret not going lighter since i guess at this point i am half way there but if i went black and wanted to go lighter again i would have to strip it AGAIN further damaging my hair....ughh help me i want this ala eva mendes jlo jessica alba look.. what colors r those? Nowadays I see lot of girls, ladies trim their hair for about 1 or 2 inches every month or alternate month. I think the main reason for cutting the hair for 1 or 2 inches is because of split ends. I also see lot of hair stylist recommend and advise all people that when you have spilit ends cut your hair for 1 or 2 inches. I also see some recommend to go for reguler hair trimming so that the more you cut your hair grows. Is it true? Please comment whether ladies or girls should go for reguler hair cut for about 1 or 2 inches every month for the hair to grow faster or if they have spilit ends.Because I had this problem at my home when my wife is wanting to go for trimming her long hair 1 or inches. Yesterday when we went out she went to mens saloon and asked the barber to cut her hair and by the time I could see what was happening the barber cut 2 inches of my wife hair neatly trimmed. Please advise
