I have already lightned it and it is a brown with kinda blonde hightlights more blonde on top UGHHHHH!!!! ut my dilemma is i dont know if i should just give up the whole brown with carmel hightlights i have wanted it forever!!! and since i intially had to have my hair stripped I(on may 20th) i dont want to dyeit back to black and then regret not going lighter since i guess at this point i am half way there but if i went black and wanted to go lighter again i would have to strip it AGAIN further damaging my hair....ughh help me i want this ala eva mendes jlo jessica alba look.. what colors r those? (and i have wanted these colors since janet in 1993!!!! she was the orginator of that color remember thats the way love goes?'')

Go with you nautral color........that goes for everyone!! Be thankful for what you have. Why do we always want to change what we have?

You can go with alot of different colors but always go with brown undertones. Being latina gives you the option to many different colors. If you want it to look best I would suggest an actual hair stylist. At home highlights or lowlights are so hard to achieve.

Latinas: Straight, black
Wavy, light brown
Curly, reddish brown, like burnt ash

Try to keep natural, that looks best on Latinas. Make highlights very close the color of your hair, so it looks natural.

Bring a picture of Jessica Alba with the hairstyle/color you want in to your hairstylist/hairdresser and ask her to style/dye your hair like that. She'll most likely know what to do.

I think that natural hair color usually looks better than dye.

Go black with dark brown highlights. That'll be hot.
