A yes or no will do fine, please, no sarcasam, hateful, or nasty comments. btw, you would not be allowed to wear a wig, as that would kill the point of being bald.

Why do I have to straighten my hair when it was not made that way? I wondered in January. So I had all the perm cut out my hair and started washing it and braiding it myself and wearing a wig (that is what it is for). It is august. My hair has grown back (thanks to all of you who gave answers on how to care for natural African amercan hair) strong an pretty and soft. I get more interested glances from men than before. But some women dont like it. I think they should wear their hair how they want to, and not insinuate I need to sraighten it (OLder women, mostly). I really dont care, but should I perm my hair? Why? To, uh, be like who? And if you dont like this, could you kinda, hm, stop acting like natural hair is unacceptable? That is so not right.

Just wondering if there is a name for this cut. I want to get it done but have no idea what it's called or how to describe it to a stylist.

I never use blow dryers, because they have always dried out my hair. I have always just let it air dry. But I noticed I can't sleep with wet hair, and since it's long and thick, it takes long to dry. I will have a fan nearby so as I'm in the living room, it will help a bit, but I need something that will work fast. I use Loreal fast dry shampoo and it has made an improvement. But the thing is that my hair also gets tangled easily while it's wet. Does anyone know of a way that I can make my hair dry fast without using something that will ruin it like a blowdryer?

Yeah..... I'm having trouble getting my hair to spike up. The middle will spike up just fine, but then the top left and right will fall back down and then it looks like a cheap mohawk. I basically used half the bottle and it still fell back down. My friend told me to use hair relaxer, but its not helping. People of the internet, please give me some advise. I hate this Mohawk!!!

My hair is just past my shoulders and is dead straight, and i wanted some ideas on how to do my hair up, for work, going out etc, rather than just tying it up in a pony tail or just wearing it down and straight. Please help

My just son just turned 13 and his hair is out of control. He refuse's to get it cut and I totally believe in being yourself and your own person. I don't even want him to get it all cut off just thinned out maybe. His hair doesn't grow long just grow's out cuz it's so wavy and thick. Is there anything he could put in it to tame it down. We try hair gel, spray's, pomade. Anyone have any suggestion's? And I'm all for long hair on guy's but his is just so wild. Thanks!!

I have wavy hair and is black in colour.I used to colour it but never had a problem with it.(Revlon or LoOreal mostly).During my marriage that was 6 months back i permed my hair.Okay that is one story.I am basically an Indian and has been India for all these years. Now for the last 3 months i had been with my husband and that too in UAE.It is for the first time i have reached a place with such a climate.Anyway since i have reached here my hair is falling and it has gone drier(mine was dry hair) but its too brittle. What should i do?IF its chemical damage, Will i be able to repair it!I havent coloured for the last three months cos i am afraid.Well... i had been using pantene in India but now i have switched to LoOreal but i dont find it quite nice.Well...my hair waskind of damaged after perm but has recovered.Qns below!!!
1)What do i do about the constant breaking and falling? 2)Pantene or LoOreal?3)Is pantene Golden protection which helps repair hair true and ggod4)Any other suggestion

I just asked a question about washing your hair every day and if it was bad for you, so if you shampoo your hair and condition one day and the day inbetween shampooing you just condition...is this good washing routine?
