Yeah..... I'm having trouble getting my hair to spike up. The middle will spike up just fine, but then the top left and right will fall back down and then it looks like a cheap mohawk. I basically used half the bottle and it still fell back down. My friend told me to use hair relaxer, but its not helping. People of the internet, please give me some advise. I hate this Mohawk!!!

Use DAX, it's hair wax, normally used for dreads but I know many that use it on mohawks as well. It will hold it up good though it takes a lot to wash it out. You can also try hair putty or airplane glue but I don't recommend it. Some say elmers glue...been there tried that, don't do it lol. How long is your hair by the way? Are you going for liberty spikes, or a fan hawk? Be more specific.

What are you going for? If you are going for an actual mohawk, use aquanet with a hair dryer. It sounds weird, but my friend told me when I got my mohawk, and it works fabulously. Also, bees wax, you can find it at a beauty supply store.

If you aren't going for a mohawk, but your spikes are turning into a fauxhawk, use wax/polmade. Gel won't do the job, bees wax, l'oreal wax, ect. Polmade will make it less spikey, but it will be up and messy.

Hope that helps!
(don't use a hair relaxer, that makes curls come out, and the only reason it would stand your hair up is from damage. )
