I really like Aussie Miracle Moist shampoo and conditioner, it smells like bubblegum, yum. I have been using it for years and have had no trouble with built up or anything. Its a wee bit more expensive than the normal brands, but it really worth it, my hair smells great and it leaves it really soft.
You should just try lots of shampoos until you are happy with one. Sample bottles don't cost a lot.

They just came out with this new shampoo a couple of weeks ago from Helene Curtis-think back to the 90's, Salon Selectives-. The new stuff is called SunSilk and there are 4 or 5 different formulas for different hair problems. I bought the anti poof kind and let me tell you this. It really works. You can find it at Wal Mart or any grocery store and it costs between 3 and 4 dollars a bottle. But I think when you have problems with your hair, a shampoo/conditioner that works well is definitely worth the extra expense!

Matrix collection is amazing. I dye my hair once a month and the only thing that actually helps my hair stay healthy looking is Matrix bilolage for color care, Biolage conditioning balm (ultra hydrating) and I also use biolage leave in shine milk spray

well i think that depends on how you want to wear it for the day and what kind of hair you have. i have straight hair and i think the best all around shampoo is garnier fructis. if your heat styling your hair, use thermasilk. and if you want your hair to smell reallyy good, use that herbal essences stuff

The best I have found (and I have used them all!) is TIGI, which you can only buy in Salons and I think on the net.
It is a little more expensive, but fantastic, and all their stuff smells like different fruits and sweet things. I use the one called "Control Freak" and it smells like jelly babies.

I use John Frieda Sheer Blonde, and I like it a lot. They also carry Brilliant Brunette and Radiant Red. It makes your color brighter and makes highlights more noticeable.
