i have choppy layered, medium length hair. It's red too. okay whocares about the color...NOT ME...lol
anyway. i dont really have a good way to put my hair up.......i need some "how-to" hairstyles.
(incase you didnt know, "how-to" means give a hairstyle that you like and show/tell me how to do it.)
please help me.

for me, i like to put up a high ponytail and curl it...
or put a low one and straighten it...

It depends on how completely up you want it. And by the way, I think redheads have the best time ;)
But anyways, instead of a poneytail, why not clip it up with a claw and use bobbypins or small clippy things to hold back some of the shorter layers while leaving some around your face to frame it. I always liked doing that when I had long enough hair to put up. . . I miss my longer hair :(

the way i put my hair up is by bending over and taking the front first to make sure i have no bumps. then pull in the sides while keeping it flat and tight. then i take the hairband off my hand and tie up my hair! to make a long story short i bend over. but you also might want to try leaving some strays down to give is some personality! p.s. that was a good question!

low ponytails are more serious

i have the same kind of hair as u but blonde!..lol.. u should try getting a bang and a not 2 high not 2 low ponytail looks CUTE!

you can do a side ponytail that goes over your shouler. you can just pull all your hair really high and make it kinda poofy in the front. you can do a very sleek high ponytail. you can tie your hair kinda low-ish and make it ;look very casual...u don't have to work on it alot.

i dont know how to give you a how to on a messy bun but just do that. not like how the old ladies do theirs. jus but it in a bun and pull pieces out adn then stick them in there all messy!
