I got my hair trimmed two inches a few days ago and when I told my boyfriend he acted like I tore his heart out and stomped on it. He was actually mad that I had cut my hair. He says all women should have long hair. Do most men prefer long hair?

My boyfriend likes long hair too! I joke with him every now and then and tell him I am going to cut it all off and always says real quick back to me: "What!? Why!?" But I tell him I am just kidding so he can relax. I don't know what it is with chicks and long hair, but I guess we will do anything to keep our men happy.

I'm told most men like long hair, but mine is rather short, but not to the point where I no longer look feminine. I could care less, if people want to call me a dyke because I have short hair, fine. My boyfriend loves me regardless of hair length and color. If your boyfriend freaked out about 2 inches, cut another two off and he should realize hair doesn't make you who you are. Since ancient times hair stored a person's power. It was also a biological sign of fertility for both men and women. This is why Hassidic men cannot cut their hair.

The length of one's hair is of no consequence if one is attracted by the other's personality and quality of one's character.
However, if one put the other's appearances above and beyond what's more important, I would say he is not worthy of your affection. For as soon as your beauty diminishes (in the case of cutting your hair), so would his attraction to you. Such superfical attraction will definitely find it's way to others with or without you knowing.

I prefer women with any length hair as long as it was a weird color like pink or green

It all depends on the guy... This guy kinda seems like a jerk if he seriously got mad at you for cutting 2 inches... there are guys who will like you with short hair.
