Dye works best when your hair is dry, and when it's been a day or two since you washed it.
Reasons?
1. You don't want wet hair because the water can dilute the dye, giving you an uneven coloring.
2. If you allow your hair some natural oil build up, it offers some protection against damage.
Dye your hair tomorrow, and don't wash it in the morning.

you should dye your hair only when it is dry and not wet! wet hair does not hold the dye well! best dye your hair before you wash your hair. so wait for a a day or two.

No, you are supposed to dye your hair when it is dry. I don't think wet hair will absorb the color.

no. never color your hair the same day that you wash it, and never color it wet.

it will color, but the quality of the color will be lax, and the longevity of the color will be lost.
