I'm debating whether or not I should wax my upper lip. The hair is light and very fine, but sometimes I think it's really noticeable. I'm just afraid that if I wax it will grow in darker (I'm a natural brunette).

I've waxed my legs before and that turned out fine, but I'm worried since it's on my face where everyone can see.

my alleged white gold ring (bought in India) has begun to look slightly yellowed on the bottom. I am now worried that the diamonds and sapphire are dodgy too!

Wow, I had no idea that my question would generate such a response, all of which is "don't do it!" It really too bad because I think the french makes them look pretty. Maybe next time I'll just get the clear or the Bubble Bath. There's also one called Sweet Heart but that may be a bit too pinky.

he is 3 months old and has had this rash for about 1 month. It is red and a little bumpy and kind of feels rough. Sometimes it appears to be light and some days it is bright red. I called the ped and he said to put lotion on it that is for sensitive skin. Advice or suggestions?

I'm 15 years old, and ever since I started secondary school, I've been called ugly. During primary school I was brimming with confidence, but around the beginning of puberty this all fell to pieces.
About 2 years ago I was bullied quite severley about my appearance by a group of malicious boys in my year, and it didn't help that my "friends" at the time would always side with the bullies. I felt totally worthless, and that I wasn't worth spending time with, or wearing nice things, because what was the point? To some extent I still feel like this now.
I know that I'm ugly, I'm not photogenic at all and it doesn't help being the ugliest out of my group of friends, and also the quietest as the scars of the bullying still remain a bit. I was wondering if there was any way at all to make myself get out of this? I hate being so pathetic and feeling that I am repulsive and unimportant constantly. I'm not doing this to get a boyfriend, I'm used to not having one, I'm doing this for me!

I have heard that the cheaper beauty items are the exact same thing as more costly beauty items - do you use any of these particular low cost items that you would swear by and rather use than the more costly brands?

I recently dyed my hair back to light brown after years of highlighting. I need to take a break from it. Color is fine, but it is blah.

I am thinking of dyeing the underpart dark brown. Sort of like when people do blonde and dark brown, but not so dramatic.

What do you all think? Anyone have a pic of the hair I am talking about maybe?

Hi, I know this is going to sound like a stupid question but I have never used powder makeups. I am 26 years old. I am not interested in using foundation but would be willing to use a powder. I heard that pressed powder doesn't really damage your skin. I am a black woman sort of like caramel complexion. Should I buy a powder that is lighter or darker than my complexion? I wouldn't use it everyday just when I'm going somewhere special and to look more grown up.

Hi. I have a formal coming up soon. My date is wearing an all white dress. Should I wear a black suit with white vest, tie, and hankerchief? I usually don't ask for fashion advice but I'm clueless on formal wear lol. Thanks in advance.

I' ve been making a paste using water, honey and baking soda and have been using it everyday in the shower for the past one week... So far there has been no adverse effects... my skin has in fact become more soft and smooth... but i am not sure about using it in the long run... I prefer making my own bath products... Hence, if baking soda is too harsh to be used in the long run, can someone pls suggest an alternative...
