I bought a beautiful "gold" brooch in the shape of a fly or bee. There are some lovely stones decorating it i.e. garnets, topaz etc and there are some inscriptions which I can't make out. It is very well made and I think it could be either Victorian or edwardian. How can I get it dated and also find out the value. Our local Jewellers have never seen anything like it before.

I have very oily hair. I wash it at night say around 10:30 like last night and wake up this a.m. and on the top of my head my hair is oily. It's always been this way. Do you have any suggestions? I don't use any mousses gels or anything. I do straighten my hair maybe 3 times a week. I have thick wavy hair and can't stand the frizz!!! I hate taking a shower in the a.m. so since I'm a stay at home mom I get to wear a hat. I also have oily skin. I wash my face in the a.m. and in the p..m. Thanks so much for your time.

Okay, so I had a tattoo that I got when I was about 15, but now I don't want it. I heard you could use some kind of lotion and it would go away within 10 or more weeks or something but it's pretty expensive. Does anybody know any way to get rid of a tattoo without laser surgery and cheap [possibly]? Does anybody know where I could get it or anything? I'm stuck and have no idea what to do. I would really appreciate your answers. Thanks!

I know that protecting our face is very important, therefore, i've always put on my sunblock before going out. But whenever i came home from school, i'll have little white spots that can be burst when you scratched it. I would like to know what causes it and how to prevent it. i'm 24 now (25 in another week).

and its funny have things have changed sooo much, school 10 years ago in the 90's, it was cool for the school kids to have all the adidas brands, kappa, nike etc (trainers/trackybottotms/jacke... and if you wore thick goggle glasses you got teased.

now your known as a 'chav' if you wear all brand names, it's cool to wear thick goggle glasses and clothes from primark :O

damnnn how things change so much (i sound like my dad now), isn't really a question but just felt like posting it ;)
