should i wear a sari to my works party. Last year we all wore dresses and all the girls looked really glamorous....but is it ok to add the indian touch to the party?

only if you are actually Indian,
be proud of your traditional dress I wish it was our traditional dress I love all the colours and textures of the sari's I think they look very sexy too, even though their probably not meant to. lol xx

Go ahead. Some Indian saries look really glamour. ;) I went for this year's nuratri and I loved the looks and the fashion.

Yes, you should if you want to. Of course it's OK! Saris are so elegant and graceful. Don't forget the Indian jewellery and make-up to go with it.
You won't be able to do the 'funky chicken' in it though...

I have no objection whatever they wear its does not matter. Matter is attitude and behavior and how they act. Most of them in metro cites like Delhi, They just trying to copy of European culture even I don't think its bad when we take good thing from any culture. But when people think that who don't follow foreign culture are uneducated and belong to lower class that is the big issue. If you don't wear good cloth and cannot speak English that the mean you are uneducated its hurt more. If some talking with you over phone and suddenly you start speak in Hindi they act like weirdly.

Yes, why not? If you are Indian then its your national dress. If not, then still go for it! I love saris- the materials are so gorgeous and the colours, wow!
