Egg or Mayo is a good source. On the remark to use flour or beer.. that will dry your hair out. Also, to much Mayo will weigh down the hair. If your hair is thin, my suggestion will be to rinse your hair in cool water after conditioning your hair for about 30 seconds. Just enough to shock the hair and close the cuticle. Another suggestion is to apply a light oil to the hair (not olive oil) made Bio.
Good luck

Rinse it with beer, or put olive oil into it and sleep w/ your head wrapped, and wash it out the next morning. Mayo only works because of the oils in it, so a safer bet would be the olive oil. When you have all the olive oil out of it rinse it with cold water, the colder the better. Cold water closes your hair shaft, making your hair more reflective, beer does the same, as long as it's cold.

Olive Oil, Mayonnaise, Eggs. Leave the olive oil in overnight and you will not need any moisturizers or oils when styling.

A lot of people with that dull hair look uses Vinegar. Sometimes shampoo's, hair spray, or other things can leave a film on your hair. That is what causes it to not look shinny. With the vinegar it will cut thru it and help. Try it, it works.

Indian Coconut Oil! it's inexpensive and it's real good, only that it smells a lil funny.

warm it up in the microwave and massage your head with it, comb through your hair with the coconut oil! you can also use this with Pure Olive Oil, only that it costs more.

all the best!
