the most important thing is to just be yourself and wear what you like, what you think looks good, and what you think is comfy but… of course there are the basic do’s and don’ts in fashion which in my opinion are:

having natural and cool make-up

cloth that fit without being too clingy, don’t wear anything too slutty and showy

accessorize with you're outfits and always make sure they match,

never wear colors that clash (like red and pink) or wear spandex

no no … on wearing waist high pants

streaks in your hair, wearing high heels (stilettos), tees, jeans, parkas, mini skirts, trainers are cool

don’t wear leopard prints or neon

black and white are totally in!

Just becuase something is in style doesn't mean you have to wear it. It may look good on someone else but not yourself. You can still be stylish without wearing "what's in". Example, if mini skirts are in but you have thick thighs you are better off opting out of that fashion style. Go for something that goes below your knees and looks good on you. I guess what I am saying is that dress the way YOU think looks good and not what someone else thinks looks good.
