I'm planning to get a tattoo, and I notice that many tattoos in good establishments and online are very detailed. I spoke to my friend, who is a good tattoo artist, and he said although it is possible to create intricate designs, I should not trust anyone who said they would do it, because the nature of tattoos means that over time the lines will blur and the tattoo will look a mess. I plan to get an olive tree on my back, and have drawn a simple design, but would prefer more detail.

Most people would look at me and ask what in the hell I have to be self-concious about and all the does for me is prove that I disquise my "faults" well. It ranges from minor things, like the scars all over my legs (clumsy child) to things that I just hate about myself like my toenails which refuse to grow. I was actually recently asked if I had surgery on my chin. I almost choked! Thats exactly the reason I live in Hawaii and dont own a single pair of shorts. And as far as the nails. I bite my finger nails really bad and Im embarassed to wear sandles or open toed shoes in fear that someone will think I chew my toe nails, no joke!

I was wondering how I can battle this anxiety that I have because it controls my life. It deters me from dating, and even forces me to make excuses for why I dont want to do certain things, like go get a pedicure for instnace.

There are many other things that bother me but, its not about whats wrong, but how I can learn to love myself more.

Are there any women who like wearing tights (pantyhose)? On most posts here it seems that women hate wearing them? Is that really true as to me they look great. Does anyone love wearing them?

I can't decide whether to pierce the left or right side of my nose. I already have a cartilage piercing in the top of my left ear, I chose left when i had that done because i like to sleep on my right side. Would it be best to do the same with the nose piercing or would it look like too much on one side? You can't really see my cartilage piercing as its mostly covered by my hair! Does anyone have any personal preferences or ideas?

I just barely got up, so it's a realy ugly picture of my face, my mouth looks a tad wierd cause I was still getting used to my lower jaw's braces at the time, no, I do not have a lazy eye

My husband wants to start wearing a tie more often at work. We both have no clue on that subject. What are the basics one needs to keep in mind while shopping for ties - there are so many in different colors, patterns and different fabrics, too.
For example can one wear a striped tie when the suit fabric also has a stripey pattern? What are big 'no-nos' concerning ties? Does one need to wear a jacket while wearing a tie or is it also acceptable to only wear shirt and tie or shirt, sweater and tie? Which color schemes work well with dark shirts, which with light colored shirts? What pattern of tie goes with a striped shirt? Any advice?

well. i'm not old, but i won't give away my age. i'm too "young" to wear heels. i'd look weird in them. i just need a few suggestions on what shoes and pants to wear to make my feet look a bit smaller. i'm 5'3" and i'm a 7 1/2 to 8. that's large. oh, and in men's too- 5.5-6.5.

on and what i usually wear is skinny jeans with converse or vans. but today my cousin told me my feet are big. she's just as tall and fits into a size 5. =[

He thinks he's ugly, and I keep on telling him that he should shut up because he's absolutely gorgeous. But as a boyfriend, he's all like "you're OBLIGATED to tell me that, cause you're my girlfriend." He doesn't believe me when I tell him that he's good looking and has nothing to worry about.

I went shopping the other day and purchased several items. One of which was a purse. I didn't have the time to look inside it but I loved the way it looked. I paid for everything and proceeded to walk out of the store. As I walked out, the alarm went off and so I just stopped and looked around. I looked at the cashier and he motioned for me to go on out. So, I did. I then returned home and went through the purse only to find that the security "thingy" wasn't removed from inside.

Now, I have no idea how to remove it and I can not take my purse into any store because it will trigger the alarm. How can I get the security "thingy" off without all the ink messing up my purse?? It's such a pretty bag!! But, what is the use if I can't carry it anywhere without looking like a criminal??

Does anyone have any suggestions??

I'm 14 and in regular store I just couldn't find a bra that really fit me correctly. In a 34 C I would have "cheeks" I would be popping out of the top of the cup. 36 C was too big on the band. When I went to the D, it was too big! So, my mom took me to this custom, hard to find sizes bra store. Well, she gave me a bra that was a 30 F. It fits PERFECTLY! But, I don't get how i don't fit into a D, but i am an F?!!? Is it european size? If it is a foreign size, what would be the closest in american sizes?
