I know shaving doesnt speed up the growing process. I recently shaved and i noticed my beard was a bit thicker and darker, there are actually some areas on my face that hair is growing where it hasnt grown before. I want to have a full beard chinstrap, shoul i shave the areas where there isnt hair to allow the hairless areas to grow?

The only "ouch" thing I've ever done is pierce my ear cartilage four times, and I used to cut myself. I would like to get my first tattoo done on the inside of my lower lip, probably saying "vanity" or something. I don't know. I was wondering, that because I have braces, would it be okay to get a tattoo in there? Will my braces affect the healing or anything?

Since I've heard lip tattoos fade quickly, how many times will I have to get it redone before it gets 100% permanent? How often must I redo it?

My mum said i could get a side fringe, and tommrow im going out with my dad and getting a side fringe, i havent asked but i really want blonde highlights, i dont fully care what you think of them or if you think they look trashy i am asking:
should i ask my mum with a 50% chance of her saying no
or should i just get them done
because i have dark brown hair (my sister did this 2 avatar, made it blonde)
and wanted to get it cut like veronicas,

so should i get them done without asking or should i ask her

I think they are so incredibly ugly! I came across them searching for some shoes for myself. Why is it anyone tries to pass them off as dressy or wear them with slacks? I think its ok if seniors where them but when middle aged or younger men wear them I just shake my head. Does anyone else agree???

I have very thick african american hair and would like to know if anyone knew of a good flat Iron I could use to get to the roots of my hair with out burning my scalp. I currently have one thats pretty good but my roots are always puffy ( I try to get as close as I can) and it messes up the whole look >_<.

I have to get surgery in two weeks because i have 2 holes in my skull and they need to put a metal plate to cover them. and they said they are going to shave a 1" by like 6" section so they can make a "s" like incision so once the hair grows back you wont be able to tell. or i can not have it shaved and then they have to cut a straight line, so i will have a permanent part in my hair there. but its on the top of my head so i think my hair will just fall over it and you will only see the part if i cut my hair short.

any thoughts/suggestions??

Hi, I recently turned 15 and have had my hairloss on my mind for quite a long time. I started to lose hair when in the 8th grade and I would like to know how to prevent this premature balding. My hairline has noticably receded and it is easy to see right through my hair to my scalp. I do not like this at all and would like to know how can I get rid of this problem.

Occasionally I notice that some lines and areas in my tattoos get kind of swollen or just raised. I don't really feel it, no pain or anything. I know that Claire's is mainly for little girls and teenagers. But I can't get enough of these cute accessories! I love buying those cute key chains, cell phone charms, hair clips, tiaras, body sprays, etc. I've loved Claire's ever since I was 13, but I didn't have any money to buy them. But since I received money for Christmas from my relatives, it wouldn't hurt to buy some cute accessories.

Just because I love Claire's doesn't mean I don't shop for things that are for my age. I also have accessories that are for my age.

I'm contemplating a bob because I dyed my hair quite a bit this year and as a result I have the split ends from h-e-double-hockey-sticks. I have already taken two inches off my hair, and still have 3-4 inches of split ends left. I have had my hair shoulder-length in the past and it has looked awful, so my options seem to be deal with the split ends or chop my hair short. Can I manage to cut it off and look good?
