My hair is falling out and I think it's because of my thyroid medication: Synthroid. I'm going to start taking Armour Thryoid but in the meantime how can I get my hair back?

I was thinking rogaine, but are there any other methods?

Well, it could be because of your thyroid issue or it could be male pattern hair loss (which Rogaine is designed to treat). To find out, I recommend seeing your physician, who might refer you to a dermatologist.

Other than Rogaine, there is a pill called Propecia and I think the Swedes have come up with some promising new laster technology. Transplanation is also an option.

In the meantime, try dandruff shampoo. I've read that the Selenium in it can reduce hair loss by 8 to 10 percent....

the Thryoid will make your hair fall out, and it takes a long time for it to come back

Hope this helps you. Massage aloe Vera gel over the scalp, leave it for about one hour. After this rinse the hair with warm water. It gives excellent results for hair loss if one uses this massage at least 3-4 times a week. Check out
