My mum said i could get a side fringe, and tommrow im going out with my dad and getting a side fringe, i havent asked but i really want blonde highlights, i dont fully care what you think of them or if you think they look trashy i am asking:
should i ask my mum with a 50% chance of her saying no
or should i just get them done
because i have dark brown hair (my sister did this 2 avatar, made it blonde)
and wanted to get it cut like veronicas,

so should i get them done without asking or should i ask her

well why cant you have both? have your fringe then have few hi-lites just around the top of your parting, when you are around your mom put your parting on the other side so the hi-lits are not visabe then when you go out, put the parting other side so you can see the hi-lits. happy days every one contented

First thing side fringe look great but they are so annoying I have had one done but a week later I got cut out because you spend every two secounds putting it behind your ear but please don't get highlights without asking if your mum if she is still mad now then she is gonna hit the roof if you do that let her calm down a bit first

Omg, don't do that. I got highlights last year (my mom knew about it--but didnt want them) And i didnt know what i was doing so i just asked for highlights ( i have darker auburn hair) and my hair looked totally blonde! I was horrified.

Ask for a carmel-color.. or something just a few shades lighter than your normal color. A bright blonde on dark brown would look bad. Do a subtler change so you and your mom can both get used to it.

Even though it really irks me when parents dictate every little thing about their kids' appearance, I would still ask for permission.

Because if you don't, your mom will probably be stricter in the future. Or who knows? I've heard of parents who, if their kids do something they don't like with their looks, make their kids cut their hair really short or something. So just ask. Besides, if your mom feels like she's in power, she might be more generous. If she senses that you're rebelling, she might try to restablish her authority by being tougher, you know?

(Not that short hair is bad, but I think it ought to be more a matter of personal choice.......)

Well instead of the fringe you can gett
highlights all depends on
what you want more .
and dont ask her first .

I tryed the blonde hair dye in my hair and it
didnt look to good .
because i have brown hair and it didnt
turn out well .
it was very bad looking .
but its your choice and all depends what you like
and want more .
But i would definatly do the side fringe

My blonde highlights are extremely mild, and don't look orange. you need to purely locate the terrific stylist. additionally, possibly in case you call it mild caramel, they'll use a extra proper mix of dyes and bleaches.

you should ask your parents permission just so that you dont lose any respect from them and so that you dont disrespect them. one day you might regret rebelling against something so little. when you turn 18 you can do whatever you want to your hair whenever

Well, What's she going to do when you get it? I say go for it! I somewhat doubt she would care once it's done.
