Does shaving facial hair allow hair to grow where it hasnt before?

I know shaving doesnt speed up the growing process. I recently shaved and i noticed my beard was a bit thicker and darker, there are actually some areas on my face that hair is growing where it hasnt grown before. I want to have a full beard chinstrap, shoul i shave the areas where there isnt hair to allow the hairless areas to grow?

Shaving doesn't make hair grow. It just started growing there and you didn't notice because you were shaving that area.

No, don't shave your bare skin. There's not any sort of magic hair growing razor.
