I'm 14 and in regular store I just couldn't find a bra that really fit me correctly. In a 34 C I would have "cheeks" I would be popping out of the top of the cup. 36 C was too big on the band. When I went to the D, it was too big! So, my mom took me to this custom, hard to find sizes bra store. Well, she gave me a bra that was a 30 F. It fits PERFECTLY! But, I don't get how i don't fit into a D, but i am an F?!!? Is it european size? If it is a foreign size, what would be the closest in american sizes?

Bras vary by maker so you just have to try them on.

Ok, I'll try to explain this..The actual cup size changes with band size..like..if someone trys on a 34 C, but the band size is to small, most would think that they should try a 36 C, this is wrong, they would actually need a 36 B, a 34 C has the same sized cup as a 36 B, but a smaller band. Because of the 30 band size if I'm correct, it makes the actual size of the cup smaller.

The number is the band size; it represents how many inches you are around your chest. The letter represents your cup size and it is determined by how many inches your bust is bigger than your chest. So, if you are a 30A, your chest is 30 inches around and your bust is 31 inches.
30F is not a European size, it means that your bust is 6 inches bigger than your chest. You fit into the F but not a D because you have a smaller band size (30 instead of 36). Sometimes larger cup sizes are listed as "DD" instead of "E" or "DDD" instead of F.
Be sure to get a fitting every couple of years because you are still developing and your bra size will change over time.

You're only 14 and you're already a 36C????
God god almighty, what kind of growth hormones are they putting in the meat these days?
Wow!! :)
Anyway, for your answer, simply ask the clerks at these stores you're going to.
You're not there now, obviously, so you can just call them.
I'm sure someone will have the answer.
Also, there's a good website to ask questions like this (and other female questions) called:
www.femalefirst.co.uk
You'll learn a lot there.

I have to go to a custom bra store also....
With the way you are, this is likely to be your lot from now on.....
That, by the way is an american size, and from the sound of it, there's more of them than there is of you...

The cups on a 30F are smaller thans the cups on say a 34F. So it does also depend on the band size as to the size of the cups. I guess it's comparable to a 30DDD in US sizes.
