What is the minimum age you can go to a tanning bed? What should I know before going {if I can} other than skin cancer stuff? How long do I stay there?

You should never go to a tanning salon. Always stick to natural tanning when you do this kind of stuff, because tanning beds increase your risk of cancer by 48%.

I think you need to watch Final Destination III before you go too. =)

It depends on your local laws. Where I lived, they just recently changed the law to 14 with a parent's signed consent or 18 without consent. Some places it's 16, so just research your city's laws because each is different. You could always just go to the tanning salon and ask an employee, they would know the rules.

Yep, she's right & it also is harmful for ;your vision. Eyes are the window of your soul so you dont want to go there.

Instead, buff yourself with a good exfoliant & use moisturizer then use the self tanning lotion. It's not any more trouble & a whole lot safer. practically no side efects. & it can be done right, i do it, & people wonder how i get my tan so smooth.

& to go to a tanning salon you have to be a certain age, yes, & 3 to 5 minites to start, if you itch- you're allergic to it, &it's a warning to you from your skin that it doesnt like it.........

Most places 16. Any age with a parent consent.
If you go I recommened going naked and use an
indoor tanning lotion.

Most beds go for 15 or 20 min. maximum,
depending on your skin tone and how easily you
burn determines your time.

The salon worker will help you with that.

Without a parent 16 or older. If you have not tanned before you should start off 8 minutes Monday, Wednesday and Friday. If you do not burn up your time to 10, then 12 continue until you reach the max 20 mins. If you happen to burn then do not tan again until you are no longer red. Tanning is a gradual process and should not be rushed. Tanning the the bodys way of protecting itself from burning. Always use goggles and keep your skin moist. Happy tanning :-)
