i'm am recently writing a script and would like to send it to a Talent scout. Should I send one to a scout in my state or In Los Angles or New York will it cost money for them to read it if so how much. When you are the creator of the show you have written the pilot created the characters but after that what benefits do you have do you have any input on how is casted as the actors or anything like that. As the creator do you just have to write the pilot or do you have to do more? Thanks for all your help!! ~ Liz

Acting classes first. Believe me, I know they're everywhere. I used to take acting classes, but the people I studied with are no longer teaching. It's been 10 years since I've been in the business and I'm considering getting my feet wet again (kids are older, I think I can get away from them now!). I was in an advanced class before where literally everyone was working or on the verge. I realize being out for so long I'll need to work my way back in, but I'd like to take some classes and see where I stand and re-type myself if you know what I mean. I'm no longer in my 20's so obviously things have changed.

For voiceover, I've never dabbled in that so this would be new to me. I've always wanted to get into that. I believe a good place to start would be a workshop, but I'm not positive re: who's good. Does anyone know teaching wise whether or not Rick Zieff, Cathy & Harvey Kalmenson, Marc Cashman, Huck Liggtt (Voicecaster), or Sandy Holt are any better than the other?

Thank you

Person A:What are you doing Here?
Person B:Why are you asking me that?
A:You should know that answer.
B:If I knew I wouldn't be asking
A:You were wrong you know
B:It doesn't matter i I was wrong, no one got hurt.
A:The damage report isn't in yet.
B:When that happens your going to feel very guilty
A:You have no right to judge me.
B:I have more right that anyone else
A:I'm sorry it turned out this way
B:It should have been wonderful.

You can't add or subtract lines to the scene. NOT a car crash or something about robbery. You can have as much blocking as you want but it has to make sence to the audience and there has to be a beg. middle & end.
any ideas?
