ive wanted to be an actress ever since i was 5. Im 13 now but i never stopped telling myself im going to be an actress, everyone i know says i would be perfect b/c im very good at acting and drama comes easily to me. im going to go to drama camp this summer, and i want to audition. the problem?
i have no idea how to get started. som1 please help. if you have any sites i can go to or anything plz tell me. I dont want to be an Actress b/c of the fame, but b/c i LOVE acting and if i can get paid to do something i love, y not. so plz help me.

Go to alot and I mean alot of acting tryouts and do your best everybody tell you that but is da truth and to look up for acting tryouts try google it

1. Take every opportunity that comes your way to act. School plays, church plays, community Little Theater, any local theater troupe.
2. Hire an agent. Do your research & make sure it's a good agent. Depending on where you life, you might have to hire one out of town, like in L.A. or NYC. Note: If they attempt to charge you anything, they are not not for real. NEVER pay an agent up front. The agent gets a percentage of your earnings IF the agent gets you a job, and only after you're paid for that job.
3. Begin building a portfolio by getting head shots. Be sure again that you use someone reputable in the biz so that you're pics are usable.
4. Take acting classes - adult continuing education at your local community college or wherever. You need both the education and the exposure that offers, as well as the possible contacts to be made.
5. Watch the newspaper & your local alternative (hippie/stoner) newspaper for audition ads in the Classifieds.
6. Take care of yourself - sleep, water & sun avoidance are the most important things for your skin.

im in the exact same situation as u. im 13 and LOVELOVELOVE to act. you should start by getting a ton of experience doing plays and student films around your community. this will look fantabulous on your resume. there are also audition posting on sites lik auditions.com, starsearch casting and auditions-audition.com. there are postings for larger films and theatre productions. there are some open casting calls for feature films as well even if you dont have an agent.

She is much too "blah" for this film! You're so correct! She must had been gambling the undead...perhaps a zombie as an alternative of a vampire! I can not consider that they went together with her within the casting. Of path, she will regularly beat my @$$, so I'd higher be careful, however nonetheless. I was once very disillusioned within the option to solid her for Bella.

There are plenty of ways: local community theatres,auditoning for commercials,the camp will also help. But to really help ensure your success there are Universities to help you as well.After your done with high school you could go to any one of them good luck.
