I'm playing the character of Audrey in a school production of As You Like It. I don't know anything about her character.

What's her character like? Nice, greedy, mean, etc.

Does she have a job? I read somewhere she's a whore...?

Is it a big part? Medium? Small-ish?

I'd like to be an actress, but I seem to have natural ability to act really well, and I don't want to spend thousands on uneffective acting classes. I also think acting classes may lead me to over-think everything I'm doing. What are some of the things you learn in acting classes anyway? What kind of exercises do you go through? Why should I take acting classes? (Please note that I'd like to act in feature films and not stage productions).

i have a monolouge due today for drama but i forgot my binder at home and my school wont let me get on the website so i can print it out agian.

I auditioned for a minor part as I am new to it and ended up getting a major one, which is great news I guess - but I am well in over my head here.

I don't know any of the other cast, barely know the Director (who seemed a cool guy) I dont understand anything about professional OR amateur theatre and am really feeling like I dont know where to start.

Anyone got any tips so as not to make an *** of myself from the word go?

I need to find three scenes for two women (early 19-23 years old) for a college acting class. The scenes must be part of whole plays so that they can be studied in context. They also can't have any accents. Any experienced theatre students out there who might know the names of some plays that would fit these criteria?

The grade is just for acting them, not finding them, so outside assistance is most welcome. If you don't know any plays that would fit, are there ways to search for this?

i may have stated the question i asked before in a misunderstanding way. i need to know if the famous arguement clinic sketch from monty python was ever published? as in i could order a copy of a play book or collection of short stories and it would be in there. i know i can find it on the internet but thats not what i need i want to know if i can buy a copy. i need it for an oral competition and it has to be published. thanks

Im doing an acting competition and want to use the song Little Priest from Sweeny Todd. the problem is that it that the song needs to be 5 minutes long and the original song is 7 and a half minutes long..... can anyone help me shorten it to 5 minutes?

Ok so last week i had auditions for 2 plays coming up at my shcool, it was my 1st audition ever and i made the call backs. Its the night before and im already freacking out. Aparently something they saw in me stood out from the others who did not make the call backs. But now the competition is gonna be much more tough to beat. Can anyone give me any tips for call backs?

I'm only thirteen but I have written a script for a short film that I think should be done right (a.k.a with a good camera, microphone) but I quite literally have NO money. My parents aren't going to shell out anything, either. How do I raise enough money to get my equipment? Are there grants available? Creative ideas welcome

this person has had several ads posted for 4 different films. the casting director says he's new to the industry, but there is no mention of auditions....only "meet and greet" parties. also, isn't it unusual to have to write a bio, etc. ? what do you think?
