They're more desensitized to violence, but this is not exclusively cinema. We have the news on every day and even the promos are full of it not to mention the corruption. The funny things is that American society seems more ok with our children seeing violence and death than with seeing sex which is natural. No wonder the psychology industry is booming!

It is like a cabaret dancer. She would test you at what posture of her you would get excited more. She will do that repeatedly. After some time, if you change your preference, your eyes would tell that and she too would change her type of ********* or the order thereof.
The producers, directors and the actors also do exactly the same.
So there is no effect of cinema on youth. It is the youth who influence the changes in cinema

Most movies are targeted toward the youth and young adult audience because they are the majority of the ones that go and spend money at the theaters.
I think "some" movies can be harmful, but the bottom line is the parents should do there homework on what movies to allow there child to see.
As long as violence, blood and guts sell tickets, the motion picture companies will continue the trend of formula films that will bring in the profit.

So long as the cinema undergoes censorship for it's contents and ideas, you are restricted with watching and adapting semi nude culture. All females want to become models and actresses and all male want to become singers and actors.

Studies have shown over and over again that exposure to violence breeds copycat crimes. If youngsters see considerable meaningless sex, they begin to think it is normal. If they hear crude language, they use it. There is a link to developing bad habits by watching negative behavior. On the other hand, they emulate actors and characters when possitively influenced.

They all aspire to be celluloid heroes and heroines. In real life they find a Kareena or Bipasha in the neighbourhood Kamini or Bani and dream of them day and night. Some of them copy the antics of villains to land themselves in jail. Want more?
