Ok so last week i had auditions for 2 plays coming up at my shcool, it was my 1st audition ever and i made the call backs. Its the night before and im already freacking out. Aparently something they saw in me stood out from the others who did not make the call backs. But now the competition is gonna be much more tough to beat. Can anyone give me any tips for call backs?

Do exactly what you did the first time! Obviously if they're calling you back they saw something in your performance that sparked them over the majority of people who didn't get called back.

Give your performance the exact same way you did the first time. Use the same speed when delivering your lines, the same types of movements you used, and if possible wear the same clothes. If you start to overthink it and adjust too much you may end up eliminating the aspects of your performance that drew them to you in the first place. Now I must be off to an audition of my own. Best of luck!

What part do you want? If it's a lead role there are things you can do to "help" the Director see you in the role. For example...is the role a smart, clean cut, studious teenager? Wear khakis, a tucked in shirt and neat hair. Maybe glasses. Or is the role more generic? You want to be in the "gang." Wear clothes and an attitude matching the character you wish to be! Is it a musical? Pick a song that closely resembles the song that character sings in the production. Don't came into an audition for "Grease" singing an AC/DC song!

Just stay confident and don't rush your lines. Im assuming its a cold reading. If it is then just take it slowly, pronouce your words correctly, annunciate, and do whatever they ask you to do. You'll do great. Just remember, you got called back for a reason! Good luck!!

Always approach every audition and every rehearsal and every performance for what it is == a chance for you to play and have fun. For that is what acting is, playing, having fun being someone else. Enjoy!
