alright, so i used to have an acting agent when i was a bit younger.
i've done a few modeling things, and 5 or 6 extra parts and one actual small speaking part in shows like law and order, criminal intent, the job, ed, special victims unit, etc.

now that i'm older i want to get back into acting, and i'll probably be contacting an agent near where we moved.
but i really want to break out of just doing extra parts.
anyone have any suggestions?

Minus the actors, except some are all-volunteer. I was a one-time aspiring actress but I thought of just working at one as a ticket seller or something.

I'm currently taking drama classes in my high school and I realized that I love acting. I have a friend that might be able to get me in as an extra in a movie or two. So how should I start this?

My question is really a two parter.
1: what is the best way to copyright and keep your script from being stolen or rewritten just enough to steal, without spending too much.
2: I live in a small town in central illinois and dont have the ability to run around california slipping scripts into directors mailboxes, what is a good way to get the script out there for directors to see and read without spending time and a fortune running around the country.

In many drama classes, to start the class, the drama teacher uses games to 'open up' the class and student. What is the purpose of these games, and do they teach us qualities for real life and build on the skills (communication, eye contact, expressing yourself)?

I was wondering if actors in musicals like "My Fair Lady" sing their own songs or if there is a "ghost" singer.

Hi, I'm an italian guy, I'm student at University of Milan! My biggest passion is cinema and acting in particular. I've always dreamt of attending the legendary Actor's Studio in NYC, but I'm afraid I can have no chance since I have no experience in acting (it takes away a lot of time and I need to get my Bachelor's Degree as soon as possible). I'm still a little bit far from my Degree, but I want to start exploring my possibilities. Do you think I will have a chance to be accepted in the school with no background experience? Thanks in advance for answering

The director of the production that I am props mistress of (though not his choice; the producer chose) and auditioning for is a pretty nice guy, and we get along alright even though we don't talk much. So far he has seemed impressed with what I've done so far, and my audition today was decent, but if he really is okay with me, will it last?

The thing is, I know his girlfriend. She is a shallow, egotistical brat, and although I've always been very kind to her, she has always been particularly mean/b1tchy to me for no good reason. (Trust me; I investigated, and it really is for no good reason.)

Is there much possibility of my director having a bad impression of me because of his girlfriend? How can I tell? What are the chances of him acting on it? In any case, what do I do?!

I go to a small private school, and we may not be able to rase enough money to buy the flying equipment usually used in productions of peter pan. What are some good alternatives? Also, If you have any videos of people "flying" this way, that'd be great. Thanks!
